How long does installation take?

Devices install like standard fixtures - 15-20 minutes. No programming, wiring changes, or IT involvement are needed. Most teams install them as part of normal maintenance work.

Does this system use our WiFi or facility’s network?

No. Hexmodal devices communicate through a dedicated low-frequency radio network and a cellular gateway, which avoids IT security reviews and removes the need for WiFi or Ethernet.

What happens if a device fails a test?

The right staff member receives an alert by text, email, or phone call. The Dashboard automatically creates a corrective action entry that is attached to the original report once the issue is resolved.

How many devices can a single gateway support?

One gateway covers up to 250,000 square feet and supports more than 1,000 devices, making it suitable for both acute care hospitals and large outpatient networks, and any other facilities.

Is there any upfront costs?

No. The subscription includes the smart device, automated testing, reporting, spare parts, recalibration, and 24/7 support.

Do we need special software or apps?

No software, apps, or downloads are required. The Hexmodal Dashboard is accessible from any browser on any device.
